File Systems FAT 32 & NTFS

FAT 32 & NTFS FILE SYSTEMS

FAT 32 stand for FILE ALLOCATION TABLE.
NTFS stands for NEW TECHNOLOGY FILE SYSTEM.

THE Main difference between NTFS and FAT32  are Following:

FAT 32 are easy to convert in NTFS but it is not easy to convert NTFS back to FAT32.
FAT 32 has less secure on the other hand NTFS has secure.

FAT 32 has not file compression, quotas and file encryption.NTFS provide file by file compression , qoutas and also file encryption.
If you have to use multiple operating system on same system FAT 32  is a good choice else using one operating system on one computer NTFS is better choice.If you have to use windows operating system NTFS is best choice.
